Jessica was kind enough to share why she chose storing her baby’s stem cells and her experience with Smart Cells.
“I am grateful to be able to store and collect the stem cells for my babies.
With the research that has been done and a lot of studies still being done, it’s been shown that it can treat diseases, and not only for the babies themselves but also for family members. So God forbid anything happens it’s good to know that we have that as a solution.
The process was super easy, I met with the team and they explained in detail how it’s going to be done, the documents.. they showed me everything about the company, and basically they told me they will be sending the kit at home and on the day of delivery I should be bringing the kit with me to the hospital and they pick it up from the hospital and it was super easy.
To be honest they are a lot in the industry, the approach of Smart Cells resembled me the most, their professionalism, their honesty; after the research that I did it was important for me to find a company that was financially stable that had a very good reputation, a good history with successful transplants; this is what mattered the most and this is why Smart Cells was an easy decision for me.
A week after delivery, I got an email giving me all the details of the samples making sure they were qualified to be stored because Smart Cells needs to make sure before storing them and 2 weeks later, the certificates were delivered to my home with all the details of the samples, the identification number and the contact details in case in the future I need to get in touch with them.
We all want what’s best for our kids, storing stem cells is one of the best decisions we’ve done! Thank you so much Smart Cells.”
